MS Musical: Once Upon a Mattress

Nov 13, 2025 - Nov 15, 2025

The Fall 2025 MS Musical is Once Upon A Mattress: Youth Edition.

No intermission

Once Upon A Mattress: Youth Edition is a one-hour adaptation of the beloved musical, designed for young performers.

Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince, and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs — by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic — this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides side-splitting shenanigans and delightful surprises. After all, a princess is a delicate thing.Rated: G

We are excited to invite you to the upcoming Winter Instrumental and Choral Concert evening, featuring our talented students in band, orchestra, and choir ensembles. To ensure that everyone has a safe and comfortable experience, and that we remain in compliance with the venue’s capacity according to the fire code, the concert will be held over two evenings: Wednesday, December 10, and Thursday, December 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Hurlbut Theater in the Performing Arts Center (PAC).

Concert Schedule and Seating:

  • To accommodate all families while managing seating capacity in the PAC, each family will be able to reserve 4 tickets total. You can choose to use all 4 for one night or use 2 for Dec. 10 and 2 for Dec. 11, for example. Please note that reservations for tickets are first-come, first-served. Once the theater seats are full, there will be no seats available, and standing is not permitted. There will be an online waitlist available through the ticket software to notify patrons if seats become available. Choose your seats as early as possible to help ensure seats are still available.
